Project co-funded by:

Drugs2CAD

The project drugs2CAD is a co-promotion project established between CHEM4PHARMA and University of Coimbra (UC) with the aim of discovering new molecules that could be useful for the treatment of two important aging-associated diseases:

Cancer

Alzheimer's disease

The CHEM4PHARMA/UC consortium has established a workplan based on the scientific expertize of its team members, with two parallel and complementary scientific approaches:

From the molecule to the target (preparation of a library of triterpenoids able to act in one or more targets)

From targets to molecules (computer-assisted rational drug design based on the macromolecular structure of the therapeutic target).
